Being BCorp Benelux certified means that we’re making the commitment to use business as a force for good. While growing, we’ll always make sure that our decisions have a positive impact on all stakeholders such as the environment but also employees and local communities.
After joining the 1% for the Planet movement and working alongside Tapio to measure and monitor our carbon footprint, this certification is another step in our journey to improve our impact on our environment.
To highlight this milestone, we got Simon Polet and Benoît Fortpied, Merchery’s founders, as well as Thelma De Swaef, the head of products, to walk us through our commitments as a company.
But don’t get us wrong, this is only the beginning. BCorp values and criteria will now serve as a framework in all our future decisions.
