Midi:Quinze is a branding and design creative agency based in Paris, constantly evolving with the times and putting their creations at the disposal of unlimited expertise.
We helped them with one of their latest projects with Nike and Courir. In a recent Q&A, we got an insight into the agency’s work, talked about creativity and inspiration, and how they source merchandise for their clients. Give it a read to dive into the universe of this cool and one-of-a-kind design agency.
Can you tell us about your recent project with Nike & Courir?
We recently collaborated with Nike on two big projects.
The first one was to design and produce the “How To Style - Air” event for Courir and Nike to celebrate Air Max Day and Parisian creativity. Our mission was to create an immersive experience for the audience, with beat-making, styling, and upcycling activities. We also gave consumers the opportunity to participate in a photo shoot and become the face of the new Air Max campaign.
The second event was “Show up: Nike x Courir”, happening during International Dance Day. The event brought together some of Courir’s most loyal customers for a hip-hop dance masterclass with renowned dancer Sarah Nh. Our team was thrilled to be a part of this immersive experience and to help Courir celebrate individuality and self-expression.
Both were super exciting projects and cool events! We’re really proud of the work we’ve done for them. With our attention to detail and commitment to creating unique experiences, we were able to make those events memorable for the attendees.
How do you source merchandise for your clients?
We prioritize choice, availability, and product quality. Merchery meets all our expectations and is our go-to platform for high-quality products such as textiles (t-shirts, tote bags, sweatshirts, etc.). You also deliver within a short timeframe, making it perfect for our events.
How is your approach on creativity in merchandising?
To be creative in merchandising, we believe in following trends and innovations while keeping the customer’s needs in mind to better individualize the customer experience. We also draw inspiration from the amazing brands we work with, such as Carhartt, Nike, Adidas, Courir, and Converse. Finally, we are individuals seeking beauty and design. That’s why we try to source and curate original, innovative, and stylish products and objects when doing merch for our clients.
What do you like to do when you lack inspiration?
At Midi Quinze, we understand that inspiration can be hard to come by. Part of our daily job is to do online monitoring by scouring platforms such as Instagram, Pinterest, Behance, and YouTube for branding and design inspirations. We also like to turn to books to help beat the algorithm and aid in the creative process. As little fellow creatives, brainstorming makes a lot of sense to us, and usually when gathering the Midi:Quinze team, we always generate cool new ideas. Because a good idea never comes alone, right?
