Snow Peak

Snow Peak was born out of frustration. Yukio Yamai, an accomplished mountaineer from Niigata, Japan, couldn't find gear tough enough for the terrain he loved, so he turned to the skilled metalworkers of his hometown and made his own. Crampons, pitons, titanium mugs. Each piece tested in the field, refined until it was right.

Over six decades later, the brand is still run by the same family, still held to the same standard: gear that lasts a lifetime, designed to bring people closer to nature rather than conquer it. Nothing excessive. Nothing disposable.
